We are open to embracing a more ecocentric way of living, inspiring our work in the laws of nature and (re)learning to relate to our surroundings in order to benefit all its parts, and create a positive impact.

Conscious of the privilege and the challenges of operating in the soils of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, our mission is to preserve this ecosystem and bring it back to its maximum productive and ecological potential.

Agroatlantis dedicates its energy to creating living conditions in the soil so that all plants can grow healthy and produce according to their nature. Through regenerative agriculture, we start from poor and simple soils to rich soils where more complex life forms can integrate.

Who we are

Marta Anula Diniz

Marta is dedicated to the regeneration and strengthening of ecosystems because she believes that agriculture is a powerful tool for change. More than producing food, she sees in the land a space for reconnection between the human being and nature, where natural cycles teach us about balance, cooperation, love and abundance.

Regenerative agriculture begins with the restoration of the soil, and paves the way for the strengthening of communities and the creation of more resilient and just models. Inspired by Permaculture and Syntropic Agriculture, she applies her knowledge in the design and implementation of agroforestry systems.

For Marta, the solution to many of the environmental and social challenges we face involves restoring the land to its vitality. She believes that it is in the cycles and natural dynamics that we find the answers for a more balanced, inclusive and enjoyable future.

Lucas Sangareau, a native of the Iberian Peninsula, realized that many of our practices with nature have negative effects, both for people and for the planet. With this awareness, he decided to change the course of his life and deepen his knowledge in regenerative agriculture, with a focus on agroforestry following the principles of syntropic agriculture.

For Lucas, regenerative agriculture is one of the keys for us to collaborate with the natural environment and create a more abundant future for all. After several training courses, he now dedicates himself to being an eco-systemic farmer, regenerating soils, biodiversity and the harmony between humankind and nature.
